About the Course

Students in the Accelerated EMT Course meet for classes two days a week in Portsmouth. The course is taught over 12 weeks.  This is a very fast-paced course and involves much work from the student.  Discipline and desire are two of the mainstays of our students.  A student that is not disciplined to do the work or one that does not sincerely desire to become an EMT will not be successful in this program.

Tuition

The all-inclusive cost for the course is $1125. This includes all texts, software, instruction, equipment, and fees.  A $275 non-refundable deposit is required upon registration to hold your seat in the course.  The $850 balance is due at orientation, on the first day of class.  

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to attend the course. Students will complete CPR during the first week of the course.

Job Placement Assistance

Red Line Training Group, LLC maintains partnerships with multiple EMS agencies, medical transport companies, and hospitals within the Tidewater (VA) area.  If you desire to become an EMT on an ambulance or in an hospital emergency department, we always have agencies wanting to meet with our students.  We will actively work to put you in touch with the key people in order to get you into the EMS field.
